AMPCO membership fees are calculated as a mill rate applied to a member’s annual electricity consumption. The rate is $0.0455 per MWh. The minimum fee is fixed at $1100 per year, while fees are capped for the largest electricity consumers at $48,000 per year. As a measure of value for money, AMPCO fees represent 0.057 percent of a customer’s electricity commodity costs. AMPCO members are invoiced prospectively on a quarterly basis based on the previous year’s reported electricity consumption.
